Announcements for 6-12-22

Just a reminder: There will be NO church here at FRC next Sunday the 19th of June. Church will be held at Island Park as part of Heritage Days! First Reformed Church will be where church is held if it is raining. Thanks

Zoomerang! Another year of VBS is in the books. Thank you for all the prayers, for serving, and for the 134 kids who attended this year. We had a blessed week of learning that God created us wonderfully in His image, that we have value, there is ONE way to eternal life, and that we have a mission – to spread the news of salvation far and wide. Our mission offering this year went to Arise! Ukraine to provide meals for refugees under their care. The kids did an amazing job of bringing over $1600, which will provide about 285 meals! (cost per meal is $5.68). Continue to pray that the lessons learned this week will settle in the hearts of the children, and that the children in Ukraine will receive the same message as they are nourished physically with the meals.

Lil Champ Day Camp: The Camp is sponsored by the region and is hoping to teach mental health skills to kids attending. The provider is from Estherville, and provides in school therapy in the Estherville School District, the camp leaders are those therapists that provide service to the schools. More information in your bulletin and registration forms will be available at the welcome center or you can register online at https://championmind.org.

CAMPFIRE WORSHIP NIGHT: Join us for a night of worship, campfires, campfire songs, and s’mores. Bring your own lawn chair and roasting sticks! Come and go as you need! June 26th @6:30pm in the FRC parking lot.

Happy 70th Birthday to Debbie Crane on the 17th of June!

Thank you for your expressions of sympathy following the death of our mom and grandma, Pauline Stubbe.  ~ Jerry & MarJean Stubbe and Amy & Dave Jans Family
